Compare to the Aramid, PPS has an outstanding resistance to the strong acids and alkails thanks to its
great chemical stability. It does perform better than the nomex and karmel fiber when speaking to the
resistance to organic and oxygenant. Indifferent to the fire, makes it stable in the high temperature
environment. It is widely used in the refuse incinerator, coal burning boiler and furnaceetc. On the other hand, it has a poor antioxidant performance.
Performance
1, Good flame retardant and excellent heat function.
2, Excellent performance of strong acid and alkali resistance.
3, Excellent hydrolysis resistance capability and strong chemical stability.
4, Chemical structure is simple, strong and stable.
5, Disadvantage is that antioxitant performance of PPS filter bag is poor, it reacts to oxidation-corrosion.
Application:
PPS Filter Bags are widely used in coal-fired boilers, waste incinertors, coking furnaces, kiln furnaces,
chemical dry process of flue gas cleaning process, also using carbon black, powder collection, pneumatic
conveying, cement industryand more. When due to chemical attack and hydrolysis. Aramid can not be used, PPS Filter Bags can be substituted.
